Meet Paula Santomauro
Fourteen years of Your Company Works, backed by a wider professional career in facilities, operations and workplace Health & Safety.
Paula is the founder of Your Company Works, which she established in 2012. Her professional experience, however, started well before the business. Her earlier career included facilities management experience at EY, giving her first-hand understanding of how buildings, people, operational responsibilities and Health & Safety all connect in a working business.

As founder of Your Company Works, Paula has shaped the business around the same practical, people-focused approach that has guided her throughout her career. Before establishing the company in 2012, she had already built valuable professional experience in facilities management, including working at EY.
That background gave her a practical understanding of what it means to keep workplaces functioning safely while balancing people, operations, buildings and business priorities.
It also shaped the way she approaches Health & Safety today. Rather than looking at compliance in isolation, Paula considers how advice will work in the real environment, how it affects the people doing the job and what is proportionate for the business.
Across her wider career and through Your Company Works, Paula’s experience has included offices, warehousing, manufacturing and retail environments. This breadth of experience helps her understand that different workplaces need different solutions rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.
The 14 years of Your Company Works are an important part of Paula’s story, but they are not the beginning of her professional experience.

The Your Company Works journey has not been a completely straight line. There came a point when Paula’s circumstances changed and she stepped away from the business.
At the time, retirement looked as though it might be the end of the Your Company Works story. Instead, it made something unexpectedly clear.
Paula missed the work — not simply having a business, but meeting people, understanding their concerns, using her experience to solve problems and working out what a workplace actually needs.
Most of all, she missed the feeling of being useful and knowing that her work could leave somebody safer, clearer or more confident.
2025
A new chapter
Your Company Works returned with the same purpose at its heart
In 2025, Paula began a new chapter of the business, reconnecting with the parts of the work she had missed most — conversation, problem-solving, professional challenge and helping businesses move forward.
The business can evolve. Workplaces can change. The way people work can change.
But the reason behind Your Company Works remains much the same: understand the business, make the priorities clear and help people move forward with confidence.

Experience matters, but so do the relationships built along the way
Clients, professional contacts, referral partners, colleagues, friends and people working behind the scenes have all played a part through their trust, encouragement, recommendations, knowledge and support.
Those relationships have helped shape Paula’s professional journey across different roles and different chapters of Your Company Works, and remain an important part of how she works today.
