Health and safety is considered to be about legislation, risk assessments, policies and procedures but at Your Company Works, we have always believed there is a very human and compassionate side to it too.

With International Day of Charity taking place on Saturday 5 September, we thought this week was a good opportunity to share a little about one of the ways we put our own values into practice.
Giving our time as well as our advice
Your Company Works currently provides voluntary health and safety support to the RSPCA Lincolnshire Mid, North East & Lincoln Branch.
Over time, our support has included the review of:

- Health and Safety Policies
- General Risk Assessments
- Accident Investigations
- Water Risk Assessments
- Fire Safety Documentation and Handbooks
They may not be the most glamorous or enjoyable jobs in the world, but they are important ones.
Good health and safety is often exactly that: quietly checking what is already in place, identifying where something could be improved and helping make sure arrangements work properly in real life.
